Fish Eagle’s Nest Bed and Breakfast located in Katima Mulilo is a homely establishment that offers accommodation choices for every need in a lovely setting.
It has been owned by Mart-Marie Strauss and her husband, Frik, since 2008 and currently offers 12 en-suite bedrooms with either single or double beds, as well as two self-catering units.
The rooms are all fully furnished and decorated up to a high standard and feature air-conditioning, selected DStv, bar fridges, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Breakfast is included in the price from Monday to Sunday and a set dinner menu also available from Monday to Saturday.
After living in Katima Mulilo for 25 years, the couple is now looking the sell the establishment.
Mart-Marie however said that they are not in a rush, but would like to be closer to civilisation.
They further offer activities such as boat cruises, sun cruises, day trips to national parks in the vicinity together with Caprivi Adventures.
According to Mart-Mari about 95% of their guests are corporate clients and they do not receive many tourists.
The outdoor area features a swimming pool, lapa and a barbecue area, all located in a beautiful, large garden.
Secure parking is also provided for guests' peace of mind.
Situated close to the Zambezi River, the area of Katima Mulilo offers a very varied range of bird life, which will please many birding enthusiasts, and the wildlife also includes the mischievous Vervet monkey.
