Blue Machine loses in UK

Namibia’s Julius ‘Blue Machine’ Indongo lost his none-title welterweight fight against Chris Jenkins on points on Saturday night in Cardiff, Wales.
The Namibian started the fight looking in shape but did not live up to the standard he had in 2017 when he won three world titles.
It was a close fight which saw both boxers trying to outsmart each other but Jenkins proved the much more determined boxer, winning 78-75.
It was the Blue Machine’s third straight defeat, totalling his defeats to five in 28 bouts.
At the age of 38, the journey for the former triple world title holder appears to be bleak given his recent record.
Fighting under AC Promotions, Indongo has found the going tough despite his impressive 23 career wins.
When contacted for comment after the fight, Indongo said: “I have no comment, champ.”
Julius Indongo’s first professional fight dates back to 2009, which saw recording zero defeats until the famous night of 2017 which saw him beaten by Terence Crawford in the United States.
The defeat resulted in Indongo losing the WBA, IBF and IBO world titles to Crawford, who unified his WBC belt in the super lightweight division.
