Ring Contact Fighting Arts International (RCFAI) Namibia presents its Namib War Championships tomorrow (Saturday, 4 November) from 09:00 in the capital at Jukskei Park in the CrossFit Windhoek Hall in Olympia.
This international triangular competition between 94 fighters from Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe is a first historic meeting for the host.
Sensei Ingo Oosthuizen, head of RCFAI Namibia, said they work hard - in collaboration with RCFAI - to create a healthy competitive environment for their members.
Ring contact fighting arts is a mix of boxing, judo, karate and wrestling with ballet for balance, and is an exciting South African mixed martial arts style. The ring fights promise to be the ultimate highlight of the championships.
Entry costs N$50 per person, and tickets are available at the door. Children under 12 can attend for free.
