Teams eager to boost squads

More football teams are making their moves in the transfer market as they attempt to improve the depth of their squads.
The transfer window opened on 17 July and football teams have already made a few signings as they are keen on making their teams for the 2024/25 season more competitive.
African Stars FC who already made six signings after their ban was lifted has set the tone.
Clubs like Ongos FC have already made moves in the market as they aim to chase African Stars.
Just recently, Eeshoke Chula Chula FC has completed the signing of 20-year-old centre forward and winger Mwedihanga Festus from Hamutumbangela FC in the Ohangwena 2nd Division.
Young African FC have also revealed that they plan on making a few signings.
“Well, we are seeing other clubs making their moves and we will follow up soon.
“There are a few players we have our eyes on and the announcements will be made soon.
“All I can say is that we will definitely strengthen our squads going forward,” Young African owner and coach Marley Ngarizemo said.
Ongos FC also recently announced that their midfielder Vetaapi Tomo has extended his contract with the club.
The football club recently also announced the signing of 27-year-old left back and former African Stars player Joseph Lungu from Zambia's Red Arrows FC.
A football fan who enjoys watching the premiership said it is an exciting time and he can’t wait to see which teams make more moves.
Nico Frans believes that the upcoming season might be one to enjoy due to the amount of transfers football clubs have made.
“We however want to see the smaller teams also entering the market and making important signings.
“I am however pleased by the fact that the football clubs are eager to have a competitive market,” Frans noted.
