More Adventure Racers complete journey of a lifetime

Team Namaqua (pictured) captured this amazing memory yesterday morning during their “trekking” stage through Spitzkoppe, before completing the first-ever Expedition Africa Namibia adventure race. From left are Riaan Combrinck, Maretha Combrink, Alwyn Maas (all South Africans) and Danie van Aswegen (Namibia). Sixty-eight competitors from 11 countries entered the multi-day adventure race which also serves as a World Championship qualifier. Teams still have until Friday to complete the gruelling challenge.
