Executioner Kautondokwa in comeback fight

AC Boxing Promotions announced their first boxing event for the year, which is set to take place on 13 April at the Roman Catholic church hall near the Windhoek city centre.
An eagerly awaited highlight will be Walter Kautondokwa, known as the Executioner, who returns to boxing after being absent for about four years.
The former world title challenger built up a significant following during his impressive streak of knockouts on his way to a WBO African title and the world stage.
Kautondokwa said: “I’ve been travelling around and doing all sort of other things in my time off, but now I am back!
“My fans have reason to be excited, because they can see me in action again on 13 April at the Roman Catholic hospital hall. I am going to win this fight, I know that. I just want to get in the ring and make my fans happy.”
Asked if he was ready to be back in the ring after such a long time, he said, “I am in good shape, the body feels nice and I’ve been putting in the work at AC Boxing Academy, so I’m good to go.”
Kautondokwa faced USA’s Demetrius Andrade on 20 October 2018 in Boston for the vacant WBO world middleweight title, but lost by unanimous points decision over 12 rounds.
At a press conference held at the NIDA offices yesterday, boxing promoter Immanuel Moses said: “It’s our first one for the year and it is going to be a great night!
“This is a fundraising event, we want to invest the funds into finishing AC Boxing Academy. A gym that is focused on bringing out the best in the youth and keeping the young ones off the streets.
“We have seven bouts and we will be looking to add one more.
“Flame Nangolo is still without a opponent in the main fight, but I will make sure to have one as I am talking to other box trainers to find a suitable match.”
