The Capricorn Women's Eagles won five of their matches in the quadrangular Capricorn International T20 tournament in Windhoek.

The Namibian batters initially scored good runs, but as the visiting countries' bowlers got used to the local batting pitches, the spin bowlers in particular caused panic.

Here's how Namibia fared:

25 April: In their first encounter of the tournament against Hong Kong, Namibia hit 116 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs (116/6 in 20) and bowled out Hong Kong for 56 in 18.4 (56/10 in 18.4) for a victory by 60 runs.

27 April: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) scored 93/8 in 20 overs, after which Namibia (94/6 in 17.2) hit the winning runs for a four-wicket victory.

28 April: Namibia (112/7 in 20) managed to bowl out a fiery Hong Kong (107/10 in 19.5) for a narrow victory by five runs.

29 April: Uganda restricts Namibia to 94/10 in 20 with excellent bowling. But against all expectations, Namibia fights back brilliantly and bowls Uganda out (86/10 in 18.5) to win by eight runs.

30 April: The UAE's spinners ran amok again as they restricted Namibia to 78/8 in 20 overs. During the UAE's (50/6 in 14) innings, play was interrupted several times by threatening thunder and the result was determined according to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. Namibia won the clash by seven runs.
