ABInBev Monthly Medal series off to popular start

A good turn-out of 73 players entered for the first tournament in the series.
The Windhoek Golf Club proudly hosted the first of eight ABInBev monthly medal competitions last weekend. The WGC has extended a very warm thanks to the new sponsor ABInBev for their support and for making this series event possible.
The medal series will be used to determine the club’s Medal champion of the year. The competitors qualify for the Tournament of Champions at the end of the year, where the best 24 players are split into two groups of twelve and compete over 54 holes.
Seventy-three players participated, which is a good turnout.

• This coming weekend, the club will host the annual Federation Pairs competition sponsored by Safety Kit. It is a 54-hole competition comprising of betterball, foursomes and combined formats.
