A showcase of talent and dedication

The Namibian Kickboxing Federation (NKF) recently hosted its regional trials for Erongo at the Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre, where participants from various age groups showcased their skills and determination.



The event was a success, with many talented kickboxers competing for top honours in their respective categories.



In the Cadet Female division, Taleila Sass emerged as the champion, followed by Jade Venter and Ziandrie Wille in second and third place, respectively.



In the Cadet Male category, first-placed Immanuel Blessing took home the title, with Kayin Faber and Keagan Appollis finishing in second and third place.



The Junior Male division saw Ryan Roux clinch the top spot, with Jay-Dee Olivier and Giandre Potgieter rounding out the top three.



In the Senior Female category, Dawn Spangenberg was crowned the champion, with Bianca Hellwig coming in second place.



In the Light Contact category, Kian Human emerged victorious in the Children Male division, while Taleila Sass and Keagan Appollis secured the top spots in the Cadet Female and Cadet Male Male divisions.



Evan Cruys and Liam Blaauw claimed first place in the Junior Male division, while William Cookson and Heinrich Schimper dominated the Senior Male category.



According to NKF secretary-general Jackeline Sass, the national qualifying trials for the Namibia Fight Championship is set for 13 April in Swakopmund.



These events provide a platform for aspiring kickboxers to showcase their talent and compete at a national level.



Overall, the Erongo regional kickboxing trials were a testament to the dedication and hard work of the participants, coaches and officials involved in the sport.
