LPM sues ECN
RIDING THE WAVE: The Landless People’s Movement (LPM) has lodged its own legal case against Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) chairperson Elsie Nghikembua, CEO Petrus Shaama, President Nangolo Mbumba and Attorney General Festus Mbandeka over the outcome of the 27 November general elections, from which the party won five seats in the National Assembly.
The party demands access to voting materials in order to determine the total number of votes cast, spoilt ballots, tendered votes and the total number of votes counted in elections held on 13, 27, 28 and 29 November.
