This weekend, rising musician Maria Lisa Immanuel, better known by her stage name ML, will deliver an hour-long live performance to the almost half a million followers of SoundCity Africa.

SoundCity Africa is a highly influential Pan-African urban music channel from Nigeria available in 55 African countries with DStv, GOtv and a rising global footprint.

The first Namibian musician to take over the SoundCity Africa Instagram account, the Ndota hitmaker is expected to perform bangers from her third album like No One and the currently trending cover challenge song, Lockdown.

Known for her diverse, innovative, African beats, ML has impressed her audience with her consistency, fusing traditional Namibian and African contemporary sounds with vernacular music.



'Flavourfully African'

The songwriter and producer describes her music as “flavourfully African”, mixing shambo pop, Afro beats and Zouk.

With her next album nearly finished, ML fans are without doubt in for a treat with this live performance.
