The Namibian entertainment industry thrived last weekend as creatives from different disciplines recorded wins - from performing artists to actresses.
First off, the fifth annual Sotigui Awards, which took place in Burkina Faso on Saturday, saw actress Girley Jazama winning best actor of southern Africa and the Sotigui D’or award for her role in the film The White Line.
The awards were co-hosted by Namibian media personality Adriano Visagie.
In music video news, One Blood reached another milestone with their hit song Kangaroo reaching a million views on YouTube.
“Our second video to reach a million views, a first in Namibian music history. We thank God and everyone for the support,” the duo said on social media.
