What has been your biggest highlight of 2021 thus far?

With only four months to 2022, this year has been a rollercoaster, but surely there have been some good things happening too. The Zone spoke to the learners of Ekwafo Secondary School in Ongwediva to find out what has been their biggest highlight of the year.

English is a tricky subject, but when I passed it with flying colours, I was really impressed with myself. Another highlight is making it as part of the Learners Representative Council (LRC).

It was definitely the final soccer match between Manchester City and Chelsea for the UEFA Champions League. Chelsea won because of Sergio Aguero hit the goal post. I am huge fan of soccer so I enjoyed this match.

Shambo Erastus

I became more interested in technology and education so I have been reading as much as I can on the topic. So far, it is going well. Another highlight of mine was being elected as the LRC for social welfare.

It was when I was elected as head girl. Another highlight was my results for the past term as I did very well in my favourite school subjects.

Matues Haluodi

I passed biology really well this year and it has been a good journey so far. I was elected as the head boy of my school, which is another highlight for me.

My goal for 2021 was to be elected as an LRC. When I made it as the LRC of hygiene, I was very proud of myself. In addition, I also achieved most of my set resolutions for 2021. Discipline got me this far.
