Team Nakathila fired up
Jeremiah 'Low-key' Nakathila is ready to fight his opponent in five days' time.
WBO Africa junior lightweight champion Jeremiah 'Low-key' Nakathila has his sights set on a victory when he steps into the ring this Saturday.
The event, dubbed 'Independence Legacy Fight Part 2', will be staged at the Windhoek Country Club Resort on Saturday.
Nakathila will headline the event in the main fight against Zoltan Kovacs of Hungary.
“I have nothing else on my mind but to secure myself a victory on Saturday.
“We are just a few days away and I must say that I am ready to pounce because I have been working very hard in the gym.
“I call on all boxing lovers to come in their numbers to support me when I step in the ring,” Nakathila said.
Nakathila will go into the bout with a record of 18 fights, 17 wins and one defeat, while Zoltan boasts a record of 23 wins, five losses and one draw.
In another fight the current WBO Africa welterweight champion, Mike Shonena, will defend his title against Shadrack Ignas of Tanzania
Shonena will go into the fight undefeated and full of confidence, as he is now rated number seven in the world by the WBO.
Harry Simon Junior has also been given an opportunity to fight for a national title. He will challenge Andreas Nghinananye for the junior welterweight title.
Fight night will also see the return of deadly puncher and 2018 WBO Africa fighter of the year Walter 'Executioner' Kautondokwa.
