Smoke clouds galore
What has become the most attended motorsport in Namibia, spinning yet again drew crowds from all over the country and had the youth and young of heart entertained in our capital city.
Druza’s Lounge and Car Zilla magazine hosted the event and made history when they held an official spin show in an enclosed area. The event took place at Ramatex in the Otjomuise suburb and gave residents of the area a whole lot to talk about.
One of Cape Town’s finest, Oom Loeks is becoming a household favourite in Namibia because of his frequent performances at shows in the land of the brave. Some of our locals who joined in on producing smoke louds were: MRT Spinners, Mr Miyagi, Jasgat Kallets, Most Wanted, Triple S Spinners, Rhroesdee and Siyabonga.
The event was one of the best attended spin shows I have seen in Namibia. Adults came to witness the spectacle while children could enjoy their time at the jumping castle and kiddie entertainment section.
Later this year on 1 October, the King of Spin event will be another ‘must attend’ box to tick off.
