Saint Angelo Eimann is ready for the Mister Africa International pageant, which takes place in Nigeria this weekend.
A Swakopmund-based model and newbie to the Namibian fashion scene has been selected to represent Namibia at the eight edition of the Mister Africa International pageant that takes place in Lagos, Nigeria this weekend.
Saint Angelo Eimann (22) works in administration and does modelling part-time.
Mister Africa International seeks to find an all-rounder with good looks, physical strength, charisma, charm and a strong personality, who is a representative of African heritage.
The winner will partner with several communities and travel the world promoting youth empowerment through innovation, education and health initiatives.
The reigning Mister Africa International is Calisah Jiwa from Tanzania, who hastravelled to various African countries including Ethiopia, Nigeria and Kenya. He launched his own shoe store called Shoe Plug, which is one of the biggest in East Africa.
Mister Africa International winners have gone on to become successful international models, with some walking the catwalks at African Fashion Week London, London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Angola Fashion Week, South Africa Fashion Week, Rwanda Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week, amongst others.
This year's event is being put together by Fitfam Magazine, in collaboration with Nigerian event and talent company House of Twitch, owned by Nigerian mogul Ayotunde Fambouy.
Saint Angelo has been selected by country director Bobby Kaanjosa of Pageant Girls by Bobby K, making him the second Namibian model to represent the country at this prestigious pageant after fitness model Divoli Uirab, who represented Namibia at last year's edition and placed inthe top eight.
Saint Angelo left for Lagos on 2 December for a boot camp and will hopefully bring the crown back to Namibia on 8 December.
