NSK at it again with TV commercial
NSK, who just finished starring in the theatre production 'I am Joe', is determined on making the theatre and film space his new home. Although he only started acting professionally two years ago, he has starred in theatre productions with renowned actors such as Nelago Shilongoh and Adriano Visagie.
“In the Namibian environment, you simply cannot rely on one craft. It's just not economically viable,” he said when asked why he chose to aggressively pursue acting.
“I've always acted, just not professionally. My first acting experience was at church for Sunday School plays,” he says. In the advert, the Walvis Bay-born entertainer projects the life of an ordinary citizen who is trying to come to grips with his new surroundings as a result of bad choices.
The commercial, shot over a period of two days, wants people to understand that there are seismic repercussions to drinking and driving.
The advert airs on NBC and One Africa Television channels. Through his acting roles, NSK has been nominated in the upcoming Simply You Lifestyle and Fashion awards in the categories Favourite Male Actor and Favourite Male Radio Personality.
