No power for Oshakati on Sunday

Oshakati Premier Electric today informed its Oshakati clients that on Sunday, 5 November, Oshakati will have a schedule power outage which will last from 06:30 to 19:30. According to Rautia Mwaala, the company's communication officer, NamPower is busy with the construction of the 400kV line between Ruacana and Omatando and it needs to relocate an existing power line to allow stringing of the new 400kV line. The entire Oshakati including Embandu, Ontuli, Oniimwandi and Oshaandja will be affected.
Mwaala also urged resident to treat the power supply as live at all times saying re-energising will be done without prior notification.
