Music for the streets
Slaughterhauze's new EP, which officially dropped today, is filled with notable features that will catch a lot of people by surprise. Here is a review of the eight-track body of work.

There is little one can say to discredit this project. There is little one can say that will justify the experience of listening to it. Think back to everything you love about the era where dance music was the primary influence in the streets; that is what this EP is about – good vibes.
Slaughterhauze consists of DJ Spuzza, Chester House Prince, Mega and Txngos. Their EP features AKA, Youngsta CPT, Costa Tich, Florito, Ompama, Greezy, Kimzala, Kurza and Shana Zandile. With 'Soek Soek Remix' being one of the EP's lead singles, music fans have a hint of the sonic direction that the project takes.
When DJ Spuzza surprised his fans with the 'Soek Soek' remix featuring AKA, nobody could have anticipated the wave he created.
The entire body of work maintains that standard. This project could easily compete with official albums and the group managed to truly balance out the project sonic direction which will leave you fully satisfied till the end.
Other single-worthy songs on the project include Chester House Prince's 'Get Down' and Mega's 'Ila Popepi' and 'Respect'. 'Ila Popepi' is an Afrobeat song, which takes a different sonic direction from the rest of the songs on the project. It is refreshing to hear Mega on an Afrobeat song as it presented him with a chance to once again demonstrate his versatility as a musician.
'Respect' is the Youngsta CPT assisted song, with potential to be an anthem for hustlers in Wamboe Lokasie and hood around the world.
