Multichoice Namibia today kicked off their #IAmAnAfrican campaign, aimed at sharing African success stories.
Speaking to tjil, Levana Cloete, Multichoice’s corporate affairs manager, said Africa month, which is celebrated every May, has grown into a culturally significant time of honouring the continent, its uniqueness and its various cultures.
“Bearing this in mind, Multichoice, as a leading African storyteller, aims to showcase African success stories from creatives who take pride in being African through the #IAmAnAfrican campaign.
“Using the power of entertainment to enrich the lives of our customers, our goal is to invest in our stories, talent and communities where we are rooted,” Cloete said.
Local talent to shine
The campaign will feature on DStv and GOtv’s social media pages.
Cloete mentioned Adriano Visagie, Girley Jazama, Caillin Basson, Andrew Robson and the 2019 MultiChoice Talent Factory students as the Namibian creatives featured in the #IAmAnAfrican campaign.
