Definitely spearheading my own solo project of my journalistic career.

Mariselle Stofberg, for her drive and ability to give everything she has in every venture she’s on. I think she’s absolutely remarkable.

December. Even though I don't know what is in store for the remainder of it, many people didn't live to see December, which marks surviving the roller-coaster that was 2021.

What my colleagues know me for in the office

Having the last say in meetings. I randomly ask questions just as everyone is getting ready to leave. (I'm working on it) That and wearing heels.

Hermien Elago - I admire her commitment to pursuing her passions and the way that she communicates with herself and her audience - openly and honestly. I haven't met her but the energy she exudes on her digital platforms makes me feel that pursuing your passion and using your talents is worth something.

Francois Dames, he inspired me to challenge my limits and invest in my relationship with God.

What was your highlight for 2021?

It's difficult to say, the highlights and challenges all sort of morph into each other - what I can say is, 2021 was a year of resilience, hard work and determination.

Most definitely my laugh.

Who is someone that inspires you? Someone local, a Namibian:

Someone who inspires me - myself, because if I look back at where I started and where I am now, there is such tremendous growth. I'm now a wife, a mother of almost two, and a respected journalist in my community. From here on, I can only improve and ensure that I am the best version of myself and then in turn make the people around me better versions of themselves
