With a line-up boasting some of Namibia and South Africa’s A-list musicians as well as popular Namibian comedians and chefs, this is an event you don’t want to miss.
It’s one of the year’s most anticipated events. Tourism, lifestyle and entertainment enthusiasts are waiting with bated breath for chart-topper Master KG to touch down on Namibian soil and entertain crowds on Thursday, 5 November, which will be one of the expo’s biggest highlights.
Performing his smash hit Jerusalema, which has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, Namibian fans will also be treated to the musician and record producer’s other tracks.
“I hope you are guys are ready for the Namibia Tourism Expo - Experience Africa, 10º South.
“I will be there dancing with you. It is going to be crazy! I cannot wait to see you guys. We are going to do the #Jerusalema challenge together,” Master KG promised.
Mind-blowing performances
Joining the line-up are Rubber Duc, Ras Sheehama, Suzy Eises, Riaan Smit, Victor Green and Vaughn Ahrens, who will bring their A-game to ensure mind-blowing performances and an experience of a lifetime.
Expo-goers can also look forward to side-splitting laughter from top comedians Dalin Olivier, Slick, Fernando, Taap The Guy, Kurt Schoonraad and Big Mitch, while DJs Kiki and Cellos will keep you dancing.
According to the event’s organisers, the theme this year is ‘renewing your energy’ and is the last expo under the ecotourism theme which started in 2015.
General access tickets cost N$50 for adults and N$30 for children over six, while pensioners and children in uniform enter for free before 16:00. Gates open at 12:00 and close at 20:00.
Limited tickets
“There are, however, limited tickets for each day so as to manage crowd control. Tickets can be purchased online at eticket.my.na,” the organisers said.
Moreover, the expo will have an entertainment section each night from 16:00 till 23:00. Tickets will be sold separately in packs of six and each group will have their own reserved space.
“This ensures a safe space for each group. There are only 150 tickets for each night. The cost of each ticket will allow six people to enter the expo as well,” read a statement from NHH.
Each night will have six shows. The first two will be cooking and tasting shows, while the third and fourth will be comedy. Music will end off each evening. “There is a variety for all, so come and join us for four evenings of entertainment.”
