1. What do you bring different to the table of your career?

I am a result driven, leader, strategist and manager, who’s agile and able to inspire and instil dynamism. The season in which the world finds itself due to the scourge of the COVID- 19 pandemic requires an amoeba and visionary strategic leadership to drive economic emancipation and to deliver on the social contract of the citizenry in the delivery of the public good, which speaks to the mandate of Public Enterprises.

With Over 22 years of professional experience of which 13 years is at executive level coupled with supporting education, has shaped a leader who’s opportune to the season in which Namibia and the world finds itself.

2. What exactly are you looking forward to in this work position?

Public Enterprises (PE) plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the country. These roles have been exhaustively documented and empirically validated in development discourses. The Public Enterprises Chief Officer’s (PE CEOs) Forum acts as a medium to assist the accounting officers in working actively together in perfect harmony toward a common definite object. The forum will drive new ideas, increased accountability, timely and unbiased feedback, enhanced collaboration, holistic decision-making, and expanding leadership skills. As a member of the Public Enterprises Chief Officer’s (PE CEOs) Forum, I am looking forward to strengthening synergies between the PE to address the existing gaps so as to bolster their functioning and to ensure that PE deliver on the social contract hinged on public good.

3. What and where will your main focus to be in office?

Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM) primarily mandate is to capacitate the public sector to achieve higher service delivery. As an Executive Director of NIPAM and a member of the PE CEOs Forum, my focus will be

facilitating tailor-made training programmes, consultancies, research and capacity evaluation for the PEs, addressing their needs and capacitating them to meet the future challenges whilst balancing shareholder expectations.

4. What is your favourite restaurant, and what’s your go-to order?

Being a coastal grill, I love seafood but most recently I fell in love with the Zambezi brim and 5 year (which is wild spinach)
