Following his 2020 ‘Turalistik’ EP, 061 Music signee Maniak Tukondjeni recently released his official debut album ‘Last of a Dying Breed’.
With notable collaborations from industry heavyweights such as TopCheri, Kanibal and Don Kamati, Maniak shared that this album showcases his ability to be creative with different sounds.
“On production, I worked with Willy-G, Lucciano, DJ Dozza and KaniBal, who also mixed and mastered the album.
“With the album already available for streaming and available on physical copies at Antonio Arts and Miami service, the next step now is to now complement it with music videos,” he said.

‘Hood 2 Hood’
Maniak shared that he recently held an album listening session in collaboration with the Deadly Ground platform, an experience he described as intimate with his fans.
“The turnout was good and fans got a chance to purchase the album,” he said.
Covid-19 has turned many musicians into digital content creators, and Maniak isn’t an exception.
To tap into this phenomenon, the rapper has launched his ‘Hood 2 Hood’ series on his Facebook account.
“The show is aimed at documenting the Katutura experience from kasi to kasi. I interview underground, raw gems with talent in the creative spheres,” he said.
