Man of the World entry deadline extended

The Man of the World pageant is a competition that promotes masculinity with responsibility and is hosted in the Philippines every year.
The pageant aims to bring awareness to the importance of world education.
In Namibia, the franchise is run by pageant director and model scout Bobby Kaanjosa and last year award-winning model Kennedy Amadhila represented the country at the showcase.
In an interview with tjil this morning, Kaanjosa shared that this year another gentleman is expected to follow in Amadhila’s footsteps.

“In March, we opened entries to the public and since then Covid-19 has hit the world and we have reviewed and adjusted our system to still allow us to select the Namibian ambassador, while adhering to the rules and regulations put in place by our government.
“The international organisation has pushed the pageant to October 2020 to observe the virus closely and adhere to the international travel ban regulations. As the Namibian franchise, we have decided to extend our entries to 30 May and made the whole process online-based,” Kaanjosa said.
He added that they plan to host interviews and auditions on online communication platforms.
Entry requirements
“The selected contestants will be given activities leading up to when its deemed safe to host the crowning event and all other measures have been put in place in case hosting a national pageant isn’t allowed,” he said.
Entries are open to all Namibian men between the ages of 18 and 38. Interested men need to be 1.7 metres and taller.
