Man kills son over jacket
A Katutura man on Saturday stabbed his son to death in an argument over a jacket.

A man killed his son in Katutura on Saturday in an argument over a jacket that his brother had taken without permission.
According to the police, the 47-year-old man stabbed his 27-year-old son to death with a knife.
The argument was apparently because his brother had taken the jacket without permission. The son was taken to the Katutura State Hospital where he later died. The suspect was arrested.
Stabbings galore
In another incident on Saturday at Outjo, a 37-year-old woman stabbed her 45-year-old boyfriend in the chest with an okapi knife.
It is alleged that the man first slapped his girlfriend and she fell on the ground. When she stood up, she took out the knife and stabbed him in the chest.
At Otjiwarongo at the Chezeban Bar a 20-year-old man was fatally stabbed by an unknown suspect on Saturday.
The man died upon arrival at the hospital and no arrest has been made.
At Katima Mulilo at Sun City Bar a 28-year-old man was stabbed to death with a screwdriver during a fight. No arrest has been made.
Rapes
In a separate incident at Bethanie at the Farm Auas-Sud a 39-year-old man raped his 22-year-old girlfriend. The man has been arrested.
In another incident at Nauchas on Saturday at the Farm Kabiras a 29-year-old man allegedly raped a 27-year-old woman. The man has been arrested.
Drownings
At Oshakati a six-year-old child drowned at the Emwandi Bridge on Saturday. It is alleged that the deceased was playing in the water with an 11-year-old friend when the incident occurred. The body of the deceased was recovered and taken to the Oshakati mortuary.
In another incident at Opuwo, a toddler drowned when she fell into a water container inside a hut on Friday. It is alleged that the toddler had been left alone in the hut.
