The MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing Academy will host the 'Together as One Boxing Bonanza' at the Windhoek Country Club on Saturday.
WBO global junior lightweight champion Jeremiah Nakathila and WBO Africa welterweight champion Mikka Shonena will be among the boxers in action.
The bonanza will be held without spectators but boxing fans can catch the action on social media platforms as well as on NBC television.
“This is of course a loss to the promoter as there are no ticket sales; however, it is a great investment towards the future of boxers. If people don't see a boxer in action, they assume that he has retired.
So, this is a great opportunity for them to fight and to stay active,” Tobias says.
He says they might host another event after this to give a chance to other boxers who haven't been fixtured on this card.
The first fight of the evening is scheduled to start at 17:00.
