Kakololo on to the next

Nathanael Kakololo’s journey to rejuvenating his career took a smooth turn after a resounding victory at MTC Salute Boxing Academy’s Boxing Bonanza at the Roman Catholic Hall over the weekend.

On a night filled with about 16 non-title bouts, Kakololo’s fight was the last of a marathon boxing card.

It only took the Namibian fighter three rounds to stop his opponent with a technical knockout (TKO), claiming victory over Johannes Niinkoti in a rematch.

“I am happy I managed to win this one and it is now all about working hard to get a title fight.

“It has not been easy for me but I have surely found a way to get myself back after two defeats in Ukraine and Russia,” Kakololo said.

Promising talent

Another promising talent, Lazarus Shaningwa, defeated Andreas Nghinaunye, and said he was pleased with his victory.

“It was an awesome night and I have no words really for what I did today,” he said.
