Kakololo camp disappointed
Namibian boxer Nathaniel Kakololo's wish to claim the WBC silver featherweight did not materialise after his fight was called off.

The MTC Salute Boxing Academy has expressed disappointment after one of its boxers Nathaniel Kakololo's fight was called off at the last minute.
Kakololo was due to fight South African Lerato Dlamini yesterday in East London, South Africa, but his fight was cancelled after the promoter failed to pay the required sanctioning fees.
MTC Salute Boxing Academy owner Kiriata Kamanya said the stable was disappointed by the fact that the fight didn't take place.
“We were informed on Wednesday that the fight will not go ahead as planned.
“The promoter failed to pay the sanctioning fees and this means that the fight will not proceed as scheduled.
“It is very disappointing for our camp and the boxers in general, seeing that we were prepared to take the title from the South African,” Kamanya said.
Kakololo defeated South Africa's Jeff Magagane in an Africa Boxing Union Featherweight title in his last fight in December.
The 2019 sportsman of the year nominee, who began his professional career in 2014, said he was disappointed.
“I was ready for this fight and I knew that I was going to win because I have prepared myself in all possible ways.
“It was however disappointing to find out that I will not be in action over the weekend.
“I will continue working hard and hope that I can get an opponent as soon as possible to fight again,” Kakololo noted. The academy said they will organise another fight in which Kakololo will defend his African Boxing Union Featherweight title as soon as possible.
“All we have to do now is get an opponent for Kakololo in order for him to fight for the title he has,” Kamanya added.
