Jealous ex stabbed to death

A 30-year-old woman on Friday killed her ex-boyfriend by stabbing him with an okapi knife at a bar in Wanaheda.
It is alleged that she stabbed him after an argument broke out between them over her current boyfriend, whom he was jealous of.
The woman was arrested along with her current boyfriend, who is also a suspect in the matter.
In another incident, a five-year-old girl was raped by her 15-year-old neighbour at Oshilunga village in the Omuntele area on Friday.
According to the police, the girl was left at home with her sibling while her grandmother was out.
The neighbour came into the house and found the girl sleeping in her bedroom, undressed her and raped her. He has been arrested.
In a separate incident at Katutura on Sunday, a 16-year-old girl was raped by a man. The girl was allegedly forced by her two cousins and the suspect to go his house. He then took into the house under false pretenses, threatened her with a knife and raped her. He has not been arrested. Efforts are underway to trace him.
Witchcraft accusations
At Opuwo on Saturday, eight men hit a 61-year-old male pensioner with stones and bricks on his head, back and legs, accusing him of witchcraft.
The suspects are between the ages of 15 and 30. The victim sustained injuries. All eight suspects were arrested.
Several drug busts were also made over the weekend, with at least six cases reported.
