2021 has definitely been a great year for the duo Ethnix Namibia who have pretty much dominated the Namibian music scene with the three singles they delivered this year. And when they dropped their latest song ‘IG’, it became clear that those who had been sleeping on them would have to resolve their dismissals of the work. This single is straight up fire and the visuals are pristine. The video is available on YouTube, and is well on its way to 100 000 views in less than two weeks.
Straight Up – KP Illest featuring Skrypt
KP Illest and Skrypt continue to remind the masses that they are not here to play around. When they dropped ‘Straight Up’, the best friends pretty much showed off their skilful lyrical deliveries. If ‘Straight Up’ hasn’t hit you yet, then it will eventually. The video was shot by Reggie Films and is available on YouTube.
Blessed Numbers – Exit ft Lioness
Although we have to admit the drama that came with ‘The Silence’ album drop to a certain extent swayed people from talking about the actual music, the album indeed does have multiple standout tracks. ‘Blessed Numbers’ being one of them for its striking bars and refined instrumentals. The track is lifted off Exit’s new hip-hop album available for streaming on digital streaming platforms.
Samba – Mukuenze
Mukuenze - previously known as PhredGot1 - has been around for a while now, even though his music is yet to get the commercial recognition it deserves.
But that has not stopped the Christian rapper from pushing forward. Mukuenze is without a doubt an unconventional artist, and ‘Samaba’ is really a single that signifies the trajectory he is taking with his sound. Whether you’re a fan or not, there is just something about Mukuenze.
