A group of four rugby lovers who won MTC's Rugby World Cup trivia competition that ran from 13 June to 6 September will leave today for Japan with their travelling partners to watch the Pool B clash between Namibia and New Zealand on Sunday. Toivo Witbooi from Keetmanshoop will take along Lesley Witbooi, while Ondangwa's Robanus Amadhila will be accompanied by his wife Julia. Walvis Bay's Betuel Nuuyoma will be accompanied by Sakeus Shaanika and Otjiwarongo's Cornelia du Toit will take along her daughter Michelle.
“I don't even know what to say. All I know is that I will be flying for the first time and I'm very happy and will cherish this trip,” said Witbooi.
Amadhila added he is very touched by the extent to which MTC goes to give opportunities to its clients and the nation. “You guys have surely assured me and my wife other 50 years of happiness,” he said.
The group will be accompanied by two chaperones from MTC and will return next Wednesday.
