Music producer DJ Dreas has partnered with Donlu Africa to create tutorial-based content to help music creators during the coronavirus lockdown.
Dreas mentioned that the tutorials will be infographic threads shared twice a week during the lockdown period, with the first episode dropping tonight at 19:00.
“I will be rolling out the content on my Twitter, Instagram and Facebook on Wednesdays and Sundays.
“I will cover different topics and share music production information from some of the most prominent music producers in southern Africa,” shared Dreas.
Donlu collab
He added that he partnered with Donlu Africa because they are the leading music source in Namibia. “I think they also have a social responsibility to educate creatives on sonic quality,” he said.
His desire to learn and help the next music producer sparked the initiative. “I am always for music producers uniting and sharing their creative processes and tricks,” he said.
Chronic takes YouTube
Meanwhile, award-winning music producer DJ Chronic’s YouTube channel is gaining momentum. On the channel, Chronic takes his audience behind the scenes and shares his creative process in creating hits with artists like Exit, Lize Ehlers, Vikta Juiceboy and more. “I have been doing this for a while now but with the lockdown, the need is intensified because we have to find other means of staying creative,” Chronic said.
