“Being the only foreign student in a foreign country made me feel proud of how far I’ve come”.
Being in a new place, far from home, struggling to establish an entire new life, and having to fight all temptations are only few to mention about the challenging moments of Anelda’s new journey in Pretoria.
Loneliness had her at her best, but she always told herself that she came for a reason to become equipped with the knowledge about wellness industry, a knowledge she wanted to develop and carry back to her country.
“I kept my focus on high levels until I achieved what I came for”, she said.
Anelda’s future plans include establishing a beauty parlour which will offer a variety of Health and Beauty services.
She grew up seeing her parents working hard and sacrifice for the family. Her grandmother taught her to place humanity over gender, race, class, colour, ethnicity, sexual orientation and disability.
Anelda has learned from her mom that integrity and authenticity are important and to do what she can to continue to improve and be the best she can be at whatever she does.
