Agri ministry offers 400 seasonal jobs
There will be work for 20 days at the Omahene Crop Research Station next year.

The agriculture ministry is looking to recruit about 400 seasonal workers for seed production activities during the 2022/2023 financial year at the Omahene Crop Research Station.
According to the ministry, 60 people are needed for 20 days to do weeding and thinning, while 20 people are needed for roguing, also for a period of 20 days.
They also need 130 people to scare away birds for 25 days and 40 people to harvest pearl millet and sorghum for 20 days.
Furthermore, 40 people are needed to harvest cowpea and Bambara nuts for 20 days, while another 20 people are needed for 10 days for threshing pearl millet and sorghum and 30 people for 10 days for threshing and winnowing cowpeas.
Another 40 people are needed for 20 days to do screening of cowpea and maize, while 15 people are needed for 15 days for the offloading of bags.
Applicants must be Namibians with valid documentation. They should be able to work, be disciplined, and not have a criminal record.
The closing date for applications is 10 October.
