Geingob heading to Portugal
President Hage Geingob will leave for Portugal this weekend to attend the Horasis Global Meeting scheduled between 6-9 April in the coastal resort town of Cascais. According to the presidency, Geingob is attending the meeting at the invitation of Frank-Jurgen Richter, the chairman of the Global Meeting. “On the day of the grand opening on Saturday, 6 April, President Hage Geingob will in addition to several bilateral meetings and interviews with global media, participate in the plenary, ‘Governing a World out of Balance’. As part of Namibia’s investment drive, President Geingob, who will be accompanied by government ministers and business leaders will lead several events, including a Namibian investment luncheon on Sunday, 7 April and a Namibia business seminar on Monday, 8 April.” Geingob is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with president of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, according to State House.
