Cocaine suspects denied bail

Two men arrested in connection with a 412kg cocaine haul, discovered at the port of Walvis Bay in June, have been denied bail in the Walvis Bay Magistrate’s Court today. Magistrate Ilge Rheent denied Grant Noble (36) and Azhar Dinath (62) bail. “The interest of justice would be prejudiced by the release of the applicants on bail,” said Rheent. The two will appear again on 29 November.
