Florencia Kavendjii's life has taken an an inspiring path that underscores her commitment. A banker by profession, she spent years in the banking industry with First National Bank (FNB). During this time, she acquired an advanced diploma in business administration. It was her role as a home loan consultant that sparked her passion for real estate, turning it into a long-term career goal.

She has since turned that goal into a reality: She is now the principal agent at Jireh Real Estate.

Real estate is often perceived as glamorous, but Kavendjii knows first-hand that it requires relentless hard work, determination and resilience. "It's a lot of talking, blood, sweat and tears," she said, emphasising the daily challenges faced by realtors.

From dealing with tenants and landlords to sellers who are unaware of compliance requirements, and unresponsive listing agents, the profession demands a high degree of emotional intelligence to resolve these issues swiftly.

One particular challenge that stands out in Kavendjii's career involved a buyer interested in a property she listed. After preparing the offer to purchase, both the buyer and seller were excited, only for the seller to back out the next day. Kavendjii was devastated, but she handled the situation with professionalism and empathy.

She met with the buyer to deliver the bad news and was subsequently asked to find another property for them. Kavendjii successfully got a new property, and the contract was signed, leaving the buyer satisfied. "At the end of the day, it's not personal. Business is business," she said.

Goals and objectives

Looking ahead, Kavendjii has ambitious plans for Jireh Real Estate. The company has already built a strong reputation and foundation. In the next five years, she aims to expand nationwide, creating employment opportunities as the company grows.

To remain competitive in the ever-evolving real estate market, Jireh Real Estate employs several strategies. The company leverages social media platforms like Instagram to engage with a wider audience. By maintaining strong connections with existing customers, it ensures repeat business and referrals. Staying up to date on market trends helps the team adapt quickly to changes. Additionally, regular monthly advertisements in House Finder Magazine keeps visibility high, attracting potential clients consistently.

Kavendjii plans to further her studies and deepen her knowledge of the real estate market. Her career has been marked by notable achievements, the most significant being her participation in the Dubai International Real Estate Conference in 2023. This prestigious event underscored Dubai's status as a hub for luxury real estate and highlighted the global impact of the industry on economic advancement.
