Momentum Metropolitan Namibia has appointed Angus Mc Nab as its new Head of Distribution for Momentum Corporate.

With a rich background spanning almost twenty years in sales management and distribution, Mc Nab is expected to bring transformative changes to the company's distribution strategies.

Mc Nab is a highly experienced professional in the financial services sector, with a broad range of expertise spanning both the South African and Namibian markets. His notable career path encompasses key roles at several prestigious institutions. His most recent role was with the Liberty Group in South Africa, and he has previously held significant positions in Namibia at Nedbank, Old Mutual and Alexander Forbes.

Mc Nab’s expertise extends to a comprehensive understanding of critical financial legislation, and the combination of his technical prowess, outstanding communication skills, and strategic sales acumen positions him as a valuable addition to the Momentum Metropolitan team.



Duties

In his new role, Mc Nab’s primary focus will be on innovating customer-centric approaches. His commitment to enhancing intermediary and customer engagement and satisfaction is expected to significantly contribute to the company's objectives.

In his vision for his new role, Mc Nab emphasises the core mission of providing security and peace of mind for both employers and employees. He is committed to working closely with stakeholders to ensure that the Namibian workforce has comprehensive access to pension savings and risk benefits. This vision reflects a deep understanding of the needs of the local market and a dedication to enhancing the financial well-being of the community through tailored financial solutions.

Commenting on the appointment, Sakaria Nghikembua, group chief executive officer (CEO) of Momentum Metropolitan Namibia, expressed confidence in Mc Nab’ capabilities.

"His extensive experience and insightful perspective on the financial services industry, coupled with his deep understanding of the needs of our stakeholders, make him the ideal leader to propel our corporate distribution channel forward," he said.
