Angela Ndatipo’s work at the Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) as a digital media and marketing officer since the start of the year has greatly enhanced the digital and social media environment at the organisation.

With a bachelor of honours in marketing from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, complemented by specialised training in digital marketing, stakeholder relations, project management, and web design from prestigious institutions such as the University of Stellenbosch, the University of South Africa (UNISA) and the University of Cape Town, Ndatipo brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.

Currently pursuing a bachelor of laws (LLB) degree at the University of Namibia and working towards obtaining the esteemed designation of marketing practitioner from the Marketing Association of South Africa, Ndatipo is dedicated to advancing her career trajectory and solidifying her expertise in the field of marketing.

Since joining the team at GIPF on 2 January, Ndatipo has immersed herself in understanding every facet of the Pension Fund Act and the intricate rules guiding the fund's operations. This dedication to learning and understanding the regulatory landscape of the pension fund sets the stage for innovative digital marketing strategies that enhance communication, engagement, and accessibility for stakeholders and members of the fund.

In addition to enhancing digital marketing proficiency by attending relevant workshops and online courses to stay updated with advancements within the industry, Ndatipo is committed to continuously expanding her knowledge base and overall professional growth.

By embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, she has deepened her expertise in digital marketing and regulatory compliance, positioning herself as a valuable asset within the Fund. In her spare time, Ndatipo enjoys swimming, spending quality time with family, getting lost in a good book, or tuning into thrilling true crime series or podcasts, showcasing a well-rounded and balanced approach to both her personal and professional life.
