She has more than six years of experience in leading and expanding businesses and has a bachelor’s degree in finance management and a postgraduate education diploma from the International University of Management.
“I focused on transforming how the company operates to take advantage of new growth opportunities created by digital transformation,” Dawid said.

At Xylo Technologies she oversaw market acceleration, including development operations for the company’s technology portfolio and strategic acquisitions, and headed a team of more than 20 engineers.
The K-12 educational technology company was founded to provide access to high-quality universal education through high-tech technology (AI/ML) and to connect schools globally to collaborate and share knowledge and resources. The company automate pedagogy and mundane tasks, enabling teachers to devote more time to learners. Dawid’s day-to-day work includes teacher bots, a digital library, therapy bots, virtual and augmented reality, communication and collaboration tools, and a combination of education and entertainment that enhances learning curiosity.

About K-12 Edu Tech

K-12 Edu Tech Inc is a unique business due to its value propositions. The application is completely independent of the internet and learning is supported by 70 languages and incorporates voice recognition to enable disabled learners the ability to control the app entirely by voice.
Documents, tests, and exams can be dictated without spelling mistakes; the need to extensively use the keyboard and mouse is significantly reduced and allows communities to overcome psychological and social barriers.
The company has a digital library that provides free offline access to curriculum, fiction and non-fiction e-books. It is a “global library”, accessible across political, economic and geographic borders. The library replicates printed books and is available whenever needed as an extension of the physical library.

Sanlam Bridge winner
Being one of the Sanlam Bridge winners is a great opportunity for the business.
“It is great to be one of the Sanlam Bridge winners, a significant milestone which helps us reach every corner of the globe and our target demographics,” said Dawid.
She added that one of the biggest challenges she has faced is hiring Android and iOS developers. Sharing some of the accomplishments for the business, Dawid said being accepted into the Flipmax Fast Accelerator in partnership with Microsoft for the spring 2022 cohort, has presented a great opportunity.
With over 845 applicants and an acceptance rate of 1.2%, K-12 Edu Tech made it to the top 12 finalists in Africa and they were selected as one of seven start-ups for the SAIS Soft-Landing Platform programme.
