The Society of Anaesthetists of Wales has donated textbooks valued at approximately N$20 000 to the University of Namibia.
The Hage Geingob Campus Library at the University of Namibia recently received a donation of 15 books intended for master's degree students specialising in anesthesiology from the Society of Anaesthetists of Wales in the United Kingdom.
Menete Shatona, the campus librarian, expressed her heartfelt appreciation: "The books generously donated will significantly enrich our continuously expanding resources for the medical anesthesiology programme."
In addition, "their invaluable contribution will undoubtedly benefit numerous students and medical professionals for many years to come."
The Society of Anaesthetists of Wales' donation, valued at approximately £1 000 (just over N$20 000), underscores their commitment to supporting academic excellence and medical education.
