DTS beach volleyball tournament a success
Volleyball fans gathered for a beach volleyball tournament in Olympia at the DTS Beach Arena last weekend. The tournament was sponsored by African Marketing and OTB Sport and saw 35 teams compete for supremacy in five exciting categories.
Outstanding success
“Despite the hot weather conditions, the tournament witnessed spirited competition and showcased remarkable talent,” tournament organiser Heiko Kesselman said.
According to him, the competition was an outstanding success.
"It offered a stage for both seasoned players and up-and-coming athletes to demonstrate their abilities and love of beach volleyball. The event will undoubtedly be remembered as a local beach volleyball calendar highlight."
Growth
Afrocat Sports Club coach Ishitile Aloisius said the event saw remarkable competitiveness and development displayed within the beach volleyball division.
“I'm proud to note significant improvement among our players, evident in their performance. We secured numerous medals -testament to the progress we're making as a club.”
