Prisca Anyolo was crowned Miss Namibia 2024 at a glittering event in Lüderitz on Saturday night, while Elaine Engelbrecht was crowned Miss Teen 2024 on Friday night.
The 2024 editions of Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia were held over the weekend at the Old Power Station in Lüderitz.
Miss Namibia is a distinguished beauty contest that has celebrated the intelligence, beauty and talent of Namibian women since 1980. The organisation is devoted to empowering young women, providing them with a platform to display their skills, champion their causes and emerge as leaders within their communities.
Their mission is to inspire and motivate young Namibian women to realise their full potential and act as ambassadors for their nation while advocating for cultural diversity, inclusivity and social responsibility to make a positive societal impact.
With Anyolo taking the crown as Miss Namibia, Leena Mugena was chose as the first runner-up and Georgia Garises as the second runner-up in the competition.
Garises also won the Miss Congeniality title, Hazel !Garus-Oas was named Miss Public Choice and Preclina Sagarias took home the Miss Photogenic title.
Caitlin Bosman was chosen as the first runner-up in the Miss Teen competition and Queen Sheeya was chosen as the second runner-up.
Loreece Kaffer won the Miss Congeniality title, Sheeya was named Miss Photogenic and Uveniko Negongo was awarded Miss Public Choice.
