Letshego Micro Financial Services Namibia (LMFSN) announced the appointment of Melvin Angula as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), heralding a new era of visionary leadership and strategic innovation. With an illustrious 16-year career marked by remarkable achievements, Angula brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this new role, which he started on 18 December 2023, the lender said.



Transitioning from the telecommunications sector, Angula has a proven track record of spearheading digital transformation and delivering cutting-edge customer services. His adeptness at formulating growth strategies and market leadership, coupled with his exceptional communication skills, underscores his career success.



Letshego Micro Financial Services anticipates that Angula's extensive experience will further elevate its micro-lending services. One of Angula's standout achievements is his recognition by TM Forum as a Digital Transformation Driver in Namibia. He also played a pivotal role in successfully listing a telecommunications company on the Namibia Stock Exchange, showcasing his exceptional leadership capabilities.



Angula boasts an impressive educational background, including an Executive MBA in Business Analytics from Eaton Business School in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a Senior Management Development Program (SMDP) from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, and a Certificate in Telecommunication Policy, Regulation, and Management from the University of the Witwatersrand. These qualifications, along with his National Diploma in Information Systems

Administration from Namibia University of Science and Technology and numerous technology and management certifications, underscore his comprehensive knowledge base.
