For the love of music, from the Mother City

The musical extravaganza that was ‘From Cape Town With Love’ took place at the Windhoek Country Club on Saturday, bringing excitement and excellent entertainment from the ‘Mother City’ to local enthusiasts.

Host and actor Maurice Paige ensured that energy levels remained high, fuelling the crowd's anticipation before each act.

Even before Loren Erasmus wowed the crowd with her incredible vocal range, local legend Gysie Uys had warmed up the audience with his nimble guitar artistry and exemplary DJ skills. When Bon Veno emerged from the back row, blowing his horn to captivate the entire room, spontaneity overcame one attendee, who grabbed the virtuoso performer and kissed him on the cheek, mid-song.

Other esteemed artists at the show included Loukmaan Adams, Sash-lee Davids and George Longane. Vocalcast Production's Andre Bok was particularly buoyant on the night, justifiably proud of organising a show that was a special experience for both young and old attendees. Take a look at the faces of some of the lucky supporters who gathered at the venue to participate in and reciprocate the love from south of the border.
