Leg five of the Ark Trading National Enduro Championships was held on Saturday at farm Abbabis, near Karibib, where 39 riders competed in five classes on challenging courses.
The pro class was once again dominated by the flying Quinton van Rooyen junior, with Oliver Rörhrmuller coming in second and Marcel Henle in third. With the junior riders, JD Simpson took first place with the Myburgh twins Gerhard and Anton coming in second and third respectively.
The first three places in the rookie class was scooped by the Swiegers family with Vigo coming in first followed by Wilhelm and Hanno. Meanwhile, the veterans class saw Jörn Greiter crowned as the winner, with Kai Hennes in second and Jaco Husselmann in third.
Sean Kemp (first), Albertus Basson (second) and Horst Becker (third) were unstoppable in the senior class.

Pro class: 1 Van Rooyen (2 hours 52 minutes 42 seconds), 2 Rörhrmuller (3:10:29), 3 Henle (3:20:55).
Juniors: 1 Simpson (3:30:50), 2 G. Myburgh (3:31:42), 3 A. Myburgh (3:57:20).
Rookies: 1 V. Swiegers (2:06:28), 2 W. Swiegers (2:08:49), 3 H. Swiegers (2:22:54).
Veterans: 1 Greiter (2:14:01), 2 Hennes (2:25:03), 3 Husselmann (2:32:24).
Seniors: 1 Kemp (2:22:58), 2 Basson (2:25:03), 3 Becker (2:43:24).
