Namibia-China relations to be strengthened with symposium

News in short
Elizabeth Kheibes
The Chinese embassy - in collaboration with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) - has announced a symposium on the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and Hongqiao International Economic Forum.

Set to be held in Windhoek early next month, “the aim of this forum is to enhance economic cooperation and the trade relationship between China and Namibia,” the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry said.

“Local enterprises, experts and scholars are invited to participate in the upcoming seventh session of CIIE and the forum, scheduled for November. It will be held in connection with a visit by the CIIE delegation,” it added.
