Geingos donates school shoes
News in short
Last Friday, Project Never Walk Alone delivered 169 pairs of shoes to Monica Geingos Junior Secondary School in Otjiwarango - sponsored by former first lady Monica Geingos.
Founder Tim Ekandjo told Namibian Sun that the project has so far donated 10 169 pairs of shoes in eight regions, and plans to head to the Zambezi Region next.
"The learners were excited to see Twazis perform live for the first time and walked away more confident as they embarked on a new future. The project team is set to head to Mariental on 18 April to deliver more shoes. The next planned region is Zambezi, where the project is expected to deliver over 1 800 pairs of shoes," he said.
