JUST IN: Ecuador walks away with Miss Supranational crown

Yandi Du Plessis
Miss Supranational Namibia, Romiley Hoffmann, represented her country in the international beauty competition in Nowy Sącz, Poland, last Friday, where a new Miss Supranational was crowned. She competed against participants from 64 other countries. Ultimately, Lalela Mswane from South Africa, who held the title in 2022, handed over the crown to Andrea Aguilera from Ecuador as her successor.

This is the first time Ecuador has won this beauty competition, making it the second South American country and the third Latin American country to do so.

Hoffmann flew the Namibian flag high and dazzled in her national costume, inspired by the Namibian desert rose. The costume was designed by Lloyd Kandlin from The Costume Dept.
